Some worthless piece of crap just hit my S2K in the parking lot of my office and bailed without leaving a note. I am now the unfortunate owner of an S2K with a dented right front fender and bumper. In fact, the damage is very similar as that in the pictures posted by YoungS2K. To make matters worse, I had installed Stongard, which is now partially torn and will have to be reapplied. Sigh.

Anyway, I now desperately need a recommendation for an exceptional body shop in the Silicon Valley or greater Bay Area. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance everyone.

If you don't know of a good shop in the area, call the high-dollar dealers (Porsche, Audi, etc.) and ask them where they send their body work, since the owners of these autos tend to be extra discriminating.

Da-Les Auto Body...they are off of mathilda...near 101 i believe...honda sends most of their customers there...they did an awesome job on my civic, and mettalic paint isn't as easy as regular paint. they might be a bit pricey compared to others, but they are the best...

Thanks for the feedback so far! By the way, I'm happy to pay top dollar in order to ensure the work is done perfectly. When I lived in L.A. I knew of a great bodyshop (real artists), but I'm not familiar with any body shops in my new home "up north."

Hi DBW, haven't talked to you since the Monterey Historic Races. Thanks for your suggestion.
