If you looked at my homepage where I posted pics of the hitch install and bike rack, go back and look again. I returned the THULE rack that I posted because it stuck out too far. I was worried I would scrape it when I would go up steep inclines.

I got a YAKIMA rack instead. The design of the receiver is very different and now there is no concern about hitting hte ground.
