HKS Hi-Power Exhaust
Hello everyone. Since my HKS exhaust was mounted, it's been slightly off-balance. I didn't really care, but when the shop was fixing my car this past month, they had to take it off. When they remounted it, I was hoping for it to be level. Nope. Remounted and just as crooked. The driver side pipe is lower, and farther out than the passenger side. I am wondering if anybody else has this problem, or if something with my specific mounts is off?
Also, I was wondering about the piping. It comes from the header in 1 pipe of course, and after the cat it splits into 3. 2 go to the mufflers, and 1 goes to an enclosed cylinder in the middle. I'm guessing this is the resonator, but why? What's it do? Looks useless and a waste of power... Insight???
I'm not knocking my exhaust in ANY way. I think it looks GREAT, sounds AMAZING, and adds just as much kick as any!

I had a similar problem when mine was mounted. If you loosen the bolts that attach the muffler pieces, you can adjust it. Just have someone hold the tips of the mufflers to where you want them to sit and someon else tighten them.
The canister is just another resinator. I herad of people taking it off, but I think it makes it much louder.
