Actually, I really hope it doesn't sound like the 350z to others cuz I personally don't like the way they sound.
Yeah and what the hell is up with the right side being higher! HKS needs to fit that. That really irritates me!

The higher right side is a little annoying...but it's only slightly off. Still, a company like HKS is big enough not to have this type of issue. I could understand if it was a really small company making 20 exhausts per year.
I just noticed that parts of the top mechanism seem to share the same resonance frequency as the exhaust at 3500 rpm. A little buzzing here and there as I go through the revs...to accompany the already earthquake-like bass emmiting from under my ass somewhere. It's like I am sitting on 4 15" subwoofers just holding one very low note.
Ive had this exhaust for quite some time now. First of all, the drone is at its worst at about 3300-4100rpms. I am going to get gears to cure this, because at 55, it a bit much (although I have a soundsystem in my car, and can completely drown it out)
Also, about fitment, this is the best fitting s2k exaust that I have seen. DO NOT BEND THE HANGER!!! They are made to adjust. Just slide the pin a little in/out of the RUBBER hanger, and all will be well. I had the same issue, and it is designed to do that.
Overall, I love mine, enjoy!

There is one particular road near Monticello that will be PERFECT to get some video on.

I've got a few longer ones but the quality is terrible. It was very windy on Sunday when we shot the vids. I'll work on getting a better one up soon. Better as in more illegal velocities.

I'll play around with the hanger location in the rubber mount to see if I can get it level. I'm glad that no bending is required!
I have a feeling this will render a sound system all the more useless. The amount of bass this produces really is something you have to experience. It really isn't that loud in comparison to other systems, its just so deep. My friend had a Greddy EVO system on his old Integra GS-R and it was downright painful. Luckily, my daily commute involves speeds slightly over 60 mph so it's not too bad. I would need a high fidelity microphone to capture the sound accurately. More than that, anyone who downloaded the file would need some high fidelity speakers to play the recorded frequency.
