^^^Total opinion, I'll stick with my J's 60RS. The HKS sounds nice, no question, but you can't compare a 60mm dual exhaust to a 70mm single, they're totally different beasts. Mainly in that one is a complete beast!

To the OP, why not compromise and go with a nice-sounding 60mm single where you will gain some hp but not be too loud. If you're on a tight budget, you could check out something like an Apex'i GT Spec or N1 catback.
Its more or less the opinion of 80% of members, INCLUDING those that dont have an HKS, ones that have a single for power reasons, weight savings whatever, that the HKS sounds the best. Invidia is second.

Guys, what do you think i should do....

HKS hi power exhaust? or Js racing 70RS? I KNOW J's is the favorite as it is mine but I hoenstly dono what to do. I dont like that hole in the AP2 bumper with a J's but I dont like paying taht much money for an HKS where i dont get any power or anything.

Anyone hear the 70rs btw? is it as loud as the 70rr?
Then get the Js dual

You have to be pretty hardcore if you're going to rock a 70MM. Not police friendly at all. But like I said, it takes a certain type of person.

I dyno'd back to back between the stock exhaust and my HKS. Lost 2 HP which falls into dyno error area but I think thats part of the problem why we can't get a straight answer. The losses would be so minimal that even if shown on a dyno it can just be written off as a dyno variance.

330 hp on Stock exhaust
328 hp with HKS Hi-Power

and yes I'm still running the HKS Hi-Power anyway because she sounds beautiful.

Has nayone heard the 70rs? is it loud or close enough to the 70RR? cuz the RR is UNREAL LOUD. I soerusly think that is the loudest thing ive heard and exhaust noise isn't an issue for me but hte RR just blew me away. I want somethign louder then the 60rs with a testpipe and lower then the RR and J's is what i want due to performance reasons and the noise (the raspy noise)

THe dual is just straight out korny looking so tahts a goner. (meaning the J's dual)

HKS sounds raspy to me - I honestly don't like it very much.

Why not get the T1R 70mm? I had one for almost a year and I didn't think it was loud enough.

Only complaint(s) I could imagine about the HKS is that it's not loud enough, and it's dual (for all the single lovers).

I am now running with a testpipe and it's plenty loud enough for me...and I honestly really don't like single exhaust on this car. I think it takes away from the awesome look this car has...but that's just opinion. I don't think it's raspy though...it sounds like a loud G35 or 350Z which is awesome.

i'm getting off topic here. but are there any exhausts that sound like the g35 and 350z? i love they way they sound. and is the HKS that much louder than the g35/350z?
