Default Hmm, let's do some math

I've had my new s2k for one week now. I told the insurance agent it was a weekend pleasure car. He said if I keep it under 7,000 miles a year I could save some money. I considered it but that's pretty low so I passed.

One week later I have close to 1,400 miles. Now lets see . . . 1400 x 52 = HOLY %*#$.

I haven't even gone anywhere in particular and have hardly touched a freeway. I really have driven it five days though, including a holiday and a vacation day. My butt is molded into the seat. This car is more fun than I ever could have imagined. Never had the top up yet.

I think rain is in the near future though, perhaps I'll calm down.

Mine is a weekend car too. 5 months = 6k miles. so that is 6k/20 = 300 miles per weekend (if I drove it every weekend). I really did not start driving it until 3 months ago though.

My car is a "weekender" too, bought it in June of last year with 3,443 on the odo, now its pushing 24,000. In fact, I drive it more than my "daily driver"

I told my insurance company 7000 miles a year max, too, thinking that was a reasonable figure. My odometer rolled past 20,000 miles on the car's 1 year anniversary.

It is killing me, I have to break in my clutch and the shop told me I had to drive it 500 miles in stop and go traffic. It's been 8 days and I only have 200 miles of breaking it in. I never have time to drive it, and I don't drive it in rain. I'd love to drive the car as much as others do. Makes me jealous.
