Default Hole in the road

Just had to vent to someone. I was driving down Big Cove Road in Huntsville, AL when I saw where they have done road work and there was a huge hole in the road. There was traffic coming the other way. I slowed down as fast as I could but it still was prob 8 mph when I hit it. Pulled over to see if it damage and sure enough I had a huge oil leak. I called a towing company and towed it to the Honda dealership. They ordered a new oil pan but still it my I saw my baby bleeding like that on the side of the road. The tow driver said the city would be responsable for fixing it since it was larger than a 2" hole. I left them a message since it happened after buisness hours. We shall see if they pay it, but I doubt they will. I guess I am lucky since my girlfriend was in the car with me that nothing serious happened. It just shows that anything can happen at anytime.
