If it actually fits, I don't see why not. It's a chunk of metal... I'm just curious what the difference is between these and the 4.5x gears everyone else buys for $600. I know they aren't cryo treated, but neither are the 4.77s or 4.44s everyone runs... which are from random trucks as well.

I'm guessing these were made with cheap material.

yes even metal has different grades of material.

sounds like a no go, nothing like telling your friend you got gears out of a samurai, but if you do it go with 5.38 and enjoy the ridiculous acceleration

The 4.44 gears everyone uses are built for the B2200 truck. Car companies don't produce different R&P gears for every single car they build....

Just curious if anyone super mechanically inclined could offer advice on why these would or would not work.
