Default Honda corportate tech department?

heres the situation, i sucked some water up into the motor. My insurance is covering any repairs honda deems necessary. My compression numbers were 216 across, not bad but down from compression test results of 240psi 2 months ago. My leakdown numbers are between 10-15% in each cylinder. Now we all know that a healthy motor at 45k should be 2-3% maybe 4 at the most. the car has never been ovre revved and like the rest of you guys, im really meticulous about cahingine the oil and keeping up with valve adjustments. the problem is the Honda mechanic at my dealer says a 10-15% percent leak on the 100 psi leakdown test is good. Well my appraiser doesnt think their good either and wants corporate honda's tech department for their max leakdown cutoff numbers on an s2000 motor. Iv elooked arond and found that many say hondas max leakdown for any honda motor is 10% but most dealers will tear down anything 75 and over. Has anyone had to have their service department at honda go through these guys? Should i worry that i might get some idiot that says 10-15% is too high? For my own good i consulted 2 certified mechanics and they say those are cazy high numbers. three seperate honda service departments also said that those numbers were too high and one specificly said that 7 percent is the max on an s2k motor. Any insight will be greatly appreciated fells. I need all the evidence or specs i can get to present to my appraiser before any decision is made tomorrow

edit; when i bought my car in June of 05, i had 2-3% leakdown in all cylinders

I don't have the service manual in front of me, so I can't look it up. Take the car to another dealership, and have your insurance work with them.
