this is a good idea, $33 pistons and $600 crank sounds all great.

but you have to calculate into the fact that these will have to be tuned. I don't even know what cams they're using, compression ratio and whole slew of things that needs to be upgraded, like fuel pump, injectors, throttle body(maybe), etc etc etc.

I would love to see the numbers and gains and the final build cost before even remotely thinking about doing this.

given that stock injectors will support a supercharger to 300hp I think they would be fine for a 2.4L engine. Also, TB and cams are a non issue.

I think I might build one of these for myself.

Its sad that people have given up on this thread...It looked to be a great idea that could have saved people a couple thousand over Inlinepro....ASM....Toda....Etc....
