Well, before i say that, i guess im gonna get some" thats no fair, not a Honda motor", but anyway-didnt enjoy it, felt unsafe. The Supra holds its ground alot better at these top speeds, maybe the aero dynamics, and the weight difference of the supra, longer wheelbase? One doesnt need to go that speed in any car anyway, unless on a serious racetrack!

brian, tell em about your run in with that TT 996...

back on track...

i think a ls1 would be a pretty sick engine swap... what is the differences in weights between the f20 and a small block?

I believe top speed on the ap1 models can do 177 at 6th 9k rpm. I've seen it bounce of redline in 6th over 186.

I got a new one, i ran a 790 hp Cobra today and was struggling with him, he crushed me from a 50 roll, it took me up to 110 to catch him, but when i pulled past him, i was just inchin by until i got in 6th, this was the first time i boosted 6th hard, i had too, when i shifted from 5th, and fell out of boost a little, he started pullin on me again till the boost came back in, then i pulled by him pretty good, about 3 car lengths. I won, but barely, he gave me an outstanding fight. This was on the inerstate. We pulled over and talked, he had his dyno sheet, and this bad boy was sleeper man, it looked and sounded like a stock cobra, until he hammered it!

I should for when I go offroading they wont scratch lol

I've painted my wheels before with 2 stage automotive paint and cleared, comes out really nice, you get a depth that you can't get with powercoating. the factory wheels are not powder coated and I don't see people complaining.
