Honda Headlight Headache (Part II)
OK - Thanks to Honda I got more than I bargained for out of their warrantee fix on my headlights...
Last month - right headlight goes out (wont come back on).
Dealer replaces inverter under warrantee (thanks to those who responded to my previous post who correctly identified problem as inverter before I ever took it in).
New Problem: Pulling car out I notice my headlights seem to be throwing beams with 2 different "colors". Thinking maybe its just a weird reflection off the garage door I get out ot have a look.
Sure enough, I've got a left headlight (the original) with a cool bluish tint to it and the new right light with a noticably more white color to it. It looks like I have 2 different types of lights.
Anyone heard or have any experience with HIDs having different tints?

I wish I could remember where I read it, but someone who works with these types of lights posted a very insightful message about HIDs. If I remember correctly, he mentioned that the lights will change color slightly as they age. This may be what you are seeing.

Indeed! (Kirk is my name and "The Captain" is already taken).
I had the same thought on the "old bulb" theory.
I definitely will insist on the right bulb being replaced with a bluer lamp and not the other way around.
