Im trying to sell my car. A fella who is interested in it claims that honda is increasing the production of the S2000 and therefore my car is worth 2-3000$ less to him?
Sounds like a snow job to me.
Anyone hear of anything like this?

Tell him you heard from several good sources that they were stopping production so it's gotta be worth $5K extra.

Tell him to ask any Honda salesman

sounds like a ploy to get you to lower your price. Just pass and sell it to someone else who values the car like they should.

Yes. One Googleplex. That is the number of S2000s that will be produced over the next 5 years. My mom's husband's wife's son's (that's me) friend's roommate's (me again) has the document. And might I add, that not only is the source exceedingly attractive, he's smart, too. There's a classified internal Honda document at the bottom of the bird cage, should anyone need the proof. If I can get to a scanner, I'll post it.

And yes, it's a real number.

1. I dont fit to well in the car...no test drives prior to purchase..
2. It dont fit my wallet...business hasnt been good for me, so I must part with my toys...(or at least thats what my boss ((wife)) tells me)

Maybe you can tell that prospective buyer that spring is coming. In a month, the prices of convertibles go up $2000 to $3000. Ask any dealer. So your car is a bargain right now. Right?
