Honda S2000 Question...
Does Honda have some sort of warranty, if the car breaks down within 30 day's you get a new one?
The question comes from my car not starting. The engine won't ignite, basically. It seems pretty serious, because the car is brand new with 1,000 miles on it, broken in properly and taken care. I just drive it hard after 900 miles. I vtec so far 3-4 times and that's pretty much it.

Check your oil level, and make sure you're not out of oil, if you're below the lowest xx's line, I'd say you're in trouble. The 2000 and 2001 S2000's especially are known to burn oil during the break in process (~7k miles), and at a much faster rate if the cars in VTEC a lot. If it's low, use cauton how you approach your dealer... Good luck!
The oil is at the H, I checked the oil the morning before it went dead. Which isn't the case, anyways it was tolled to my dealership, they ran diagnostics and it's because of the 1st cylinder (sp?). They claim that it's driver error, due to revving and may not warranty it. My question isn't this car suppose to be revved up? If not why the 9000 rpm? I started laughing at the master tech guy for saying that. Than he said "OH."
People know I didn't even vtec till 800 miles and when I did vtec i didn't even attempt to go all the way. I'm just in awe as to what or how it happen. Also vtecing only occured in 2-3rd gear before shutting down.
I'll keep you guys informed on what happens, my parents are pushing for a new s2k, because they don't want some s2k that already had a problem to sit in the garage for a period of time.

They should replace it for you unless you told them that you took it past redline, which it doesn't sound like it. I believe there is a issue with some of the s2k where the cylinder burns out -but I think it's the fourth and not the first. Keep calling and bugging them about it untill they get it taken care of. Hold your ground. That's my advice.
