Default HONDA Should Hire this man!

Honda, if you are trolling this board, you should hire
this man ---->

This man fixed the 1st - 2nd grind that recently developed. He gave me back the confidence to drive the S normally again. In essence saved me $10 000 for trading the S in for something else.

The one, the only...Guru.....

My S gradually developed a low rpm 1st - 2nd gear grind towards the end of winter. After trying everything from tranny fluid changes to different tempo shifting, xviper looked at my clutch fluid. It was gross, black with solid particulates in it.

We changed it with a DOT 4 fluid and now my car feels new again. The 1st to 2nd gear shift is smooth when the car warms up just like how it was last year. My guess is that the clutch fluid was so bad that there wasn't enough pressure to fully disengage the clutch and would cause the odd grind after some heat build up.

Reasons for the fluid being so bad is that it might of picked up contaminates like water over the two Canadian winters that I have driven the S in. We looked at another S, same year as mine, same driving conditions, and the fluid is looking almost as bad. For people who drive in stop and go and through winter, go check your clutch fluid. I've had my car for 15 months and the clutch fluid was shot.

Yes... he is something else. Always so wise with the advice and points. I wonder why xviper isn't in the car business. It seems like second nature to him.
