Honda vs. s2k vs. TypeR
I know this is a lame ass question but.... Do you think honda will ever make a type-r s2000. I know that their is the type-v in japan. But type-v just does not sound as good as type-r.
On a side note. Does the type-v just have that weird suspension thing or is the engine upgraded too?

I don't even think there is any difference in suspension. I think it is all in the steering deparment. I think the USA S2000 is the Type V in Japan. I could be wrong though. Someone else will probably clarify.
It has to do with the steering. The Type-V has a stearing wheel that is more rectangular shaped. Plus the steering is adjusted by a device (I forgot what it was called), according to how fast you are going. I am pretty sure that is the only thing that is different between the two.
Guys, you got the all confused. The Type-V is design with a advance steering system. Benefit of the system is that when you need street park. You do have have to rotate the steering all the way to make the wheel lock. However, rumor say type-V is not too safe or friendly on the track because the steering system may throw you off. Its got nothing to do with engine or whatever version. Type-V is only in Japan.

The S2000 Type-V is equipped with Variable Gear Ratio Steering (VGS). It varies the gear steering ratio continuously according to vehicle speed and steering angle. It ensures ideal handling performance through a broad range of driving conditions. Basically, the lower the speed you're traveling, the less you have to turn the wheel. At higher speeds, the steering is not as sensitive.
