I can't believe that Honda's quality was rated 128 and Chevy was rated 130. Toyota, Infiniti, Jaguar, BMW, Porsche, and Cadillac all rated better than Honda? WTF!!!

The only four I would have guessed would have been Acura, Inifiniti, Toyota and Lexus.

Those don't surprise me. Well, Infiniti surprises me, but Toyota/Lexus have been up near the top of this JD Powers thing for the past few years, IIRC. Anyway, do they do other surveys besides Initial Quality? Just curious.

I know that I hear about this "Initial Quality" test all the time. But maybe Honda's score was driven down because Honda owners are anal and want everything perfect so they take their car back for every little thing???

Also consider that this is "initial quality". I think American companies are capable of producing something that works in the short term. What has always amazed me about Japanese auto manufacturers is their ability to build something that still works 100k miles later.

according to the same study the s2000 came in 3rd among premium sports cars:

Premium Sports car: Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class, BMW Z4, Honda S2000

Remember the survey is done within 90 days of ownership... Even chevy's can last 90 days
