Default hondata ecu for s2k

Anyone have any updates on the status of the hondata ecu for the s2k? I've been hearing that they are very close to finishing the product. Ive been told It will be like the hondata for the k series so you can program it and tune yourself.

Anyone have any contact with hondata or know anything?

Moving to S2000 Talk. If you'd like to talk about specs and installation of this, then come on back.

My understanding is that they aren't doing an S2000 ecu. That comes from james at Hondata.

if you want a fully functional ECU for the S2000 with more options than you could ever use then you can't go past the AEM EMS.

thats too bad... hondata would have been popular most likely...
i thought there was more than AEM EMS? maybe a couple more companies that made ecu's for the s2k... or am i mistaken?

J's Racing and Mugen have their own ECU's, but you basically need their parts to make it work efficiently.

even if this came out it's not going to yield the gains seen in the RSX....S2000 is already tuned to near pefection

Spoon, Amuse, and Mugen make ecus for the S2000 but they are pretuned.

Also, there's no reason why you can't go Motec, Haltech, Wolf etc.

The difference is that Hondata do vehicle specific completely tunable ECUs. One of the Japanese manufacturers makes an S2000 solution too. But with the AEM freely available and incredibly capable you can't really go past it.
