Default horn note?

anyone notice a significant difference of pre MY04 / MY 04-05 horn notes?
Feedback of both is appreciated?

Are they weak like civics?

Just wondering, i like to honk at chicks, and can't do it with a wimpy one.

The 04+ horn is much better than earlier horns. Sounds more European.

The note on most horns is an "F"

Air horns are the coolest if you want a good sound. The Super Hellas are the loudest and easiest to install.

AP1 horns do sound like a little economy car. AP2 horn is quite a bit better.

the AP2 has a dual horn, so it's a fuller sound than on AP1s. reminds me of a bmw or benz horn

Yeah, the AP1's sound like Civic horns. I have used the Hella Supertones, but was not impressed at all. It sounds just like stock, except maybe a bit louder. I picked up some FIAMM horns at Pepboys. I'll post up some pics of the install. They sound MUCH better and they sound like a real car horn, not the whimpy "beep-beep." Plus, you can use the stock wiring. Cost = ~$30.
