ahem, may i suggest you try going from the S to a Mack dump truck. talk about a world of a differance! it's...it''s.....you cant even compare the 2.
i work at truck repair shopp and everyday after work when i get into my S, it feels like it's the first time i've been in it for months.
and if anyone is familiar with Hino trucks, especially 10 year old ones, understands when i say those things should be banned from the road!

haha.. its just that driving the S you get used to taking regular corners about 10+ higher than usual.. i've gotten a bad habit with mine and usually take clear 90 corners around 30ish. i did that with my mom's RX330 the other day and i swear the car was goign to flip ;[.. whats wrong wiht me? besides being terribly retarded =O

The S is my "tame" DD, but that's probably only because it's running more often than my RX7 is.

Who needs practicality anyway?

Cool

I shouldn't complain, although the same thing happens to me, even with a Mazdaspeed 6 as my daily beater. The Speed 6 handles admirably for a midsize luxury sports sedan, but even that thing feels like a pig around the corners. It is roomy, and comfy, so I'll never complain, nor should you. The only time I don't like my S2K is on a highway for a long duration. Very noisy, very uncomfortable, and very boring. It's all about changing gears at 8krpms, and running corners with the S2K. Without being able to do that, I'll enjoy my Speed 6.

To be fair and objective, I'll complain about the S2000. You just don't get that muscular feel of raw power and torque. It's just too slow at 3krpms. I get out of my Speed 6 and into my S2K, and step on the gas pedal when at 3k rpms, and it sucks.

I've got a '91 Prelude as my daily driver, and I love the little car. But after a spirited drive in the S on the weekend, my Prelude just feels like a POS. Damn S2000!!!

tell me about it, before my S i had a 94 s-10 (still have it) and i used to love that little truck. but now i feel like its a heap of chit every time i drive it. I kept it for a winter beater, man its gonna be a long winter driving that pile. .

I suppose my S2000 also ruined my Integra GSR. Not by much, but enough that I allow my Integra to be parked for over a month or so before I ever try to start it up and find that it's battery is drained and need a jump. Happens many times... haha.
