Horrible keying
Hi. I took out the garbage today and noticed that my brand new 2006 black S, with barely 2,000 miles on it, has a horrible 3 foot keying on the right rear quarter panel, extending to the door.
After calling the insurance company, I have an appointment with a body shop tomorrow so they can give me an estimate. The body shop is one of three that USAA gave me. What can I expect? Will they have to repaint the entire car or just the area, or what will they have to do?
Is there something I can ask for to make sure they do the right job? All I want is for the car to returned exactly the way it was before the vandalism. Can anyone help with tips and advice?

non metallic paints, especially black and white, are easier to match than most... so I don't expect they will have to repaint much, just that section.
edit: look at the other cars they have there. ask to see finished cars so you can judge the quality of workmanship. that, and the shop's reputation, are the only things you have to go on.

Thanks for the help and condolences. The keying actually covers two panels. How long will I have to wait? How long before I get the car back, about? Has anyone gone through this before?
