Hot Dyno vs Cold Dyno (results)...
I hadn't planned on learning this bit of information when I went today to have my AFR tuned, but it was interesting none the less.
The car dyno'd the first two times at around 283 HP, nothing surprising as I had dyno'd at 286 HP a few weeks ago. The guy recommended letting the car cool down and doing a few more pulls. Just letting the car cool down gained 9 HP!
Just something to remember the next time you go get a dyno, or hear of someone gaining or losing 5 HP with an air filter. The dynamic parameters, which affect the car's performance, can alter results by +- 5%, maybe more.
