Bumper to bumper is pretty close race. I'm guessing that he's pulling around 400ponies. What year was the VR4? I guessing that it's a 94+.

I believe he bought the RMRacing unit from Wesmaster. He also had his OEM rims powdercoated black and it looked real good on his silver stook.

 

Yea, you forgot to bold the shoulder belt pads...they add about 20+ horsies.

The car is a '95. Wes has got a little monster on his hands. If you guys don't have a S/C yet, I suggest you buy one. He looked damn good off the line against that supercharged Z28 too.

I, like a moron, let off a bit too soon. I didn't know where we should finish, but I felt that I held a lead on Wes for a while, and thought that it was over. It was a damn good match up though. All I had on Wes was what I made from the launch...gotta love that AWD!

I installed Wesmaster's old RM Cold Air intake.

I only had half of it on Friday night...haha. I can't tell the difference...other than it sounds great. Wesmaster and I agreed that it sucks in more air...but warmer air...so I might of had a cancellation effect going on Saturday night. I installed the other half Sunday, and I am looking into putting a heat shield between the filter and the engine.

Yeah I liked our kick a$$ tie race we had...that was cool. I knew the stock tires would make a difference in a drag race...but damn! Those 18's and Toyo tires probably made me loose .2 seconds going from 0-60.

 

I was out cruzin' Westheimer Saturday night and came across a yellow S2000 with an aluminum gas cap, yellow interior and other exterior modifications. Is this car for anybody here or does anybody know anything about this car? I'm just curious what all has been done to it.

 

That yellow car used to be black! It was wrecked to hell and it was restored.

The shop that did it was "Super Auto Body Shop (SABS)" on Ponderosa and 59 (713 772 6813).

My friend owns SABS, he bought the car for $10,000...brought it back to life and gave it to his son. It was at the Import Expo car show last year...and I let him borrow my 18 inch Volks for the show.

Yep...the car has yellow and black seats.

I grabbed his son's email adress so I could point him to the S2000online.com website.

I forgot two highlights:

1. Unicron and Lips2000 found a TRUCK that was faster than them (I was too far behind to run). The guy said he ran 13.6 1/4 miles! It was a bg 'ol Z71 or something, all up on stilts.

2. We found out at Mamma's Cafe that Lips2000 was taught how to kiss by his mom. Just ask him.
