Default how are the 06+ seats holding up?

Despite my efforts the driver's side seat bolsters on my 04 S2K are starting to show a little wear (getting in and out of car). Older seats look downright terrible (side bolsters are smushed/deep crease marks). The 06+ seats look to be made of a better material and I was wondering if they were holding up any better.

6 months old; daily driven; some wear on the left buttcheek bolster ,
but the natural granny pattern does an excellent job of hiding it

I would get aftermarket seats, but from my research most of the reclineable (a requirement for me) aftermarket seats have a higher seating position. The S fits me perfect but with a higher seat i don;t think I'd be comfortable.

The 06 seats look gross if you ask me. The material doesn't look as nice and the seat feels slightly wider...I think with each passing year the S2000 gets worse and worse as they try to please more people. 2.0 -> 2.2, traction control, rear speakers, wider seats...

Anyway, get some nice racing seats or buy some newer 00-05 seats from someone who bought race seats.

How do these things make the car worse? They all seem like improvements to me.

2.0 -> 2.2 = more realistic powerband for non-track use
Traction Control = better safety; if you don't like it, turn it off with push of a button
Rear Speakers = don't add much but certainly don't take away
Wider Seats = well, Americans are getting fatter (this one included); a little more room is a positive for most of us
