Default How To Be A Better Driver In Your S2k

Just wanted to share some good info with all of you guys (and gals)... A good friend pointed me in the direction of a fantastic website that provides summaries of driving techniques, racing, cornering.... everything that we do in our cars everyday and on the track...

The URL is http://www.turnfast.com/

Check out some of the articles (esp on heal-toe downshifting, seating positioning, & steering).

Happy Motoring,
Rick

Thanks! That's a great link. Now if I only had a track closer than 400-500 miles

Glad you guys are getting a kick out of the site...

And I'm with you, Rodney K... finding the track to actually practice these techniques is the kicker... Personally, I'm going to clear a few days in early spring to run my S2K at Summit Point, in West Virginia (about 100 miles away from Baltimore, I thought) - I'd like to try out those techiques on a real track.

Hopefully, Paul Newman will be there, see the talent I have from within, sponsor me, hire a crew, write me a fat signing bonus, pay me a multi-million dollar annual contract, and provide me with a harem of ladies to accompany my new racing career... We can all dream...

GREAT SITE. Thanks! Means even more to me after having taken a performance driving course, I would recommend that to any S2000 driver. It may be costly, but defintely worth it.
