Oh really?
Lol, the s2k did a bigger wheelie than the 5.0.

But yes, if you want mad torque, swap an ls1 in that baby! Yeah if you want torque, you got the wrong car. Unless you spend tons of money on it.

This is obviously your first Honda , but like everyone has already said, Honda's aren't known for their torque. I don't think anyone has asked yet, but why do you want more torque so badly? I've ridden in a supercharged s2000 that didn't have a whole lot of torque but the horsepower alone was enough to make me hold on for dear life.

buy a few torque wrenches and throw them under the hood. That should do the trick

Swap in 4.77 gears and you'll gain more usable torque.

Well, at least get some mechanical advantage. 4.77 is you're best option.

The FlashPro helps, but not on pre-MY06 cars. A dry nitrous kit works wonders though.

I'd just shift later. You'll get more torque very quickly.

Generally disagree w/ gears except for straightline acceleration from a stop. Improves torque at the wheels in every gear, BUT if you go by road speed, you'll often find yourself at a torque DISadvantage vs. stock gears due to having to upshift sooner.

Gears are good for acceleration from a dead-stop or low-speed roll. They don't improve acceleration and torque to the wheels when they have to upshift sooner, though. Zero-to-xx mph will be better with gearing because the initial acceleration advantage they have from zero to ~30mph or so is never lost, all the way on up. But if you go from a 35mph roll, a stock-geared AP1 will kill an otherwise identical 4.77-geared AP1, because the geared car will have to be in 2nd and the stock-geared car will be in 1st, enjoying ~27% overall gearing advantage. And in this case, it's the stock-geared car that will stay ahead due to its initial 35 - 42mph advantage.
