So I installed my Defi's and I'm trying to find a way to my cabin through the firewall. Anyone have any suggestions on getting there?

 

I ran the wiring for my amplifier through a grommet right up above the clutch pedal.

 

Is it like the very top of the engine bay?

 

No. Look and see, its easy to find.

 

I would go through were the Cruise control feeds into the car. Its located near the middle (a little above) of the firewall towards the drivers side of the car (near the clutch master cylinder and resovoirs)(sp)

How close to the intake manifold?

 

I say driver's side, up fairly high and behind the hard lines you'll see there.
Very visible, very easy to get to inside the car as well. I walked to work today so I can't snap a photo. Go check the electronics section and see where the power wires are run through.

I suck.

 

Still having trouble? There's a big rubber grommet with a kind of rubber skirt in the center because the hole in the firewall is so large. You can make a small cut in it to feed a wire through.

1) Stand next to the driver side fender, next to the firewall.
2) If parked in a dark area, aim flashlight down at under-the-hood side of firewall.
3) about 6 inches from the fender in front of you, you will see this large black grommet.
4) Shake you head a couple times and come back to post about how you "can't believe it was right there the whole time!"
