Default How do I repair a dent

I had an unfortunate run in with a truck. Now I have a medium size dent just in front of the right front wheel. Its not major enough to pay $300 at a garage but I think its too big for Pops-a-dent or something like that. If I take the bumper off, I could get at the rear of the dent. Do I just take a rubber hammer and try to bang it out? If anyone has done this before, I would greatly appreciate the advice. This is on a 95 civic by the way. TIA!

I use a dent repair guy who comes to my dealership weekly and he is great. It wouldnt hurt to ask around the dealerships as these independent guys are sometimes better than the franchise dent pullers.

Yeah, try a PDR (Paintless Dent Removal) place. They are pretty cheap and if the paint is not creased, can usually get it back to acceptable condition.

I just had 5-6 door dings removed for $100.
