How do sellers on Ebay get away with this stuff?

The funny thing is, if you read comments from their feedback, people are actually saying they work.

Everyone that buys them is probably pretty young, and new to the modification thing. They're probably just driving their car harder after installation of the resistor, and the placebo effect does them in.
