how do u reset check engine light. for those with the manual

Default how do u reset check engine light. for those with the manual

Car just randomly threw a Check engine light after I put the stock intake back in... should i be worried? how do i reset it?

yep. always worry about a check engine light. here's what you should do.

go to autozone have them pull the code
look up the code in your helms (aka S2000 bible )
fix the code
hug your beautiful car

a common error you can run into when it comes to putting the stock air box back in is P0411. your car is trying to tell you that you routed a vacuum hose incorrectly somewhere or you didn't tighten the hoses down enough causing a link or there's a leak in one of your hoses. you should double check your work to include the hoses on the hard line by your engine, the air box and solenoid and the little black box deal that's near the solenoid. you might also want to check that small, white check valve that's near the black box. it's supposed to be facing a certain way. do a search on the boards for the above code for a pic.

and to reset the ECU, it's the third fuse slot down on your right bank. remember. third fuse SLOT not third fuse.

just about every question you can imagine has been asked and answered on the boards. it'll save you the time of posting it and waiting for a response if you do a search. the search function on this boards does a hell of a job finding what you want.

well i reset it with the fuse thing.. and the cel went away... i think the computer flipped out because of the change of air coming in...? who knows.

well reset the ecu.. cel went off drove around.. turned it off.. then started it again.. CEL again. guess im goin to honda.. :/ i bet its a vacumm hose loose or somethin.. since the valve is on in the right direction
