How do you get rid of overspray???
Currently I have a law suit against the body shop repairman who did my car. He completely screwed my car up. It has tons of over spray. I was wondering if sanding it with a real fine grit will get rid of that and follow it up with a clay bar. Anyone ever had to deal with this before? Let me know please!

Don't know how bad your's is but I successfully removed "overspray" with just the clay bar.
The shop told me they covered the car when spraying. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I guess the spray filtered through the 'cover'.
My problem was a fine haze which would not come off without heavy polishing. I tried a small section and it was scary how much energy I had to use to cut through it. I couldn't get the finish smooth and shinny without blasting it with heavy compound.
The panels that weren't painted were the worst. The clay bar sounded like sand paper going over it, but in a few swipes it just glided silently. A coat of wax and it was as good as new.
Try to increase your efforts a little at a time using the least agressive treatment first.
Good luck
