Default How do you take off the rear bumper?

I need to replace the rear bumper and don't have the helms manual. Can anybody scan the page on the helms manual for me and post it/e-mail it? Planning on installing it today so help me out!

With the trunk open you should see these black round clips all along the bumper. You need a small flat head screwdriver to pry the center piece up. Once the middle is raised the clip can be removed. These same clips are also at the bottom, four of them if memory serves me corrrectly. Once all the clips are gone, there is one screw and one nut in each rear wheel well area. I used a jack to lift the rear of the car up slightly so I had enough room to use a screwdriver. The nut requires a wrench/ratchet. With all the clips/screws/nuts removed you should be able to pull the bumper off. It might take some effort. It's probably a good idea to have an assistant to help with pulling the bumper off or hold one side while you are working on the other side. The tricky part for me was removing the license plate light. The connector needs to be unhooked but it's difficult to see/feel behind the bumper.

Go slow and take your time.
