What procedure do you use to wash the convertible top?

 

I've had the car for a year and a half and I've never had to wash the convertible top. It gets rinsed off when I wash the rest of the car, but I've never actually washed it.

I wash mine the same way I wash the rest of the car. Car wash soap and rinse with garden hose. So far so good. Just make sure it's dry before putting it down.

 

I use the Porshe Tequipment Convertible top cleaner and a microfibre towel. It cleans it very nicely. Yes, even after all those threads about it being made of vinyl and not cloth. My stook is 10 months old now and the top looks as good as new.

 

I wash it when I wash the rest of the car. I use Sonax gloss shampoo when I wash the car. Every year, I clean the top with Meguiar's #40, Vinyl conditioner and cleaner. Comes out just as black as the day I bought it.
