Got your attention? Good

This is from an article in one of our local papers; it's due to the rash of traffic accidents recently involving SUV's. (you know, those amazing 4WD vehicles w/snow tires).

Just thought I'd throw this in as a counter to the appearance that it's only S2000's biting it recently. You should have seen the pictures from this weekend on the TV here...lost count of the # of SUV's and 4x4 trucks off the road...and it didn't snow hardly at all, maybe 1-2"!

---- ARTICLE (via OCR) ----

Over the previous decade. some 400,000 Americans lost their lives in weather-related auto accidents, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Adverse weather conditions

They left off "Don't consider driving your S2000 in the ice and don't drive it in ANY snow without snow tires."

Perhaps it was implied that this sort of advice was wasted on the target audience since the article was aimed at people who bought a 5000 lb. truck as their daily driver.

I guess the purchase in the first place demonstrates a significant deficiency in common sense, doesn't it?!!
