Default How easy is it to crack or break a frontlip?

I have a OEM 00-03 frontlip that needs to be installed. And I'm a little worried because it does look very fragile. Recently I've also seen some pics of broken frontlips too so I was wondering is there a way to protect the lip (maybe fill it up with some substance or something)?

Nothing I've seen will protect it from damage. I'm on my second one already because of a low driveway in downtown Philly. Just be careful, and it usually isn't a problem. Honda should sell those things in a three-pack!

They're actually pretty strong.. I crash landed my car a few times into curbs with no problems... but the last time going 30mph it cracked. So jus make sure you go slower than that when crashing your car into medians and stuff

For the price of that protector you could buy another used OEM front lip.

Im getting the protector for my next lip, if I decide to get one again instead of a bumper. Ive cracked mine and had it repaired at a body shop 3 times now only to have it crack again over and over. Damn the parking blocks.

the oem lips are strong, but they can be broken. Shit happens, you can't avoid that...learn to park away from curbs and parking blocks and you are good to go
