It only takes a couple minutes to put on once you figure out where all the clips are. I never use mine, not worth the hassle.

Apparently quite simple, but mine hasn't even been out of the bag it came in

Always use mine. It takes about 60 seconds once you get the hang of it. It does protect you top from taking a beating from the wind and keeps everything nice and clean. Now my 968 is a PITA but I always use that one for the same reason. Plus it looks better.

I won't use it during winter months but once the weather warms up, I will use it whenever I have the top down. It just looks cleaner and protects your soft top when not in use. Wind noise is also cut down. In this regard, I think Porsche Boxster had it right. Oh, well!

Easy and fast aren't adjectives I would have used but in retrospect, it's not that bad. Most of the time, I don't bother with it because I know I'm going to be putting the top up and down throughout the day and it's not worth the hassle of installing and removing the cover every time.

Every once in a while, we'll get a really pretty day and I know I'll have the top down for the better part of it. In these cases, I'll put the cover on because the car really does look better with it than without it.

This sounds like such a weird question, but I had the same question...

I mean, I don't know if I would leave the top down while, say, going into a mall or leaving it in some parking lot where I can't get a view of it every now and then. So, removing the cover every time I stop at a place doesn't seem very practical. However, having the cover on is absolutely better looking and I can see how this would help protect the top and cut down on wind noise as well... What a delima!

Mine is also still in the plastic bag that it came in, and is currently taking up space in my closet

I just can't see leaving the top down while being away from it... I remember my high school days and having "Friends" that did some naughty things to open convertibles left in parking lots. However, I also can't see removing the cover and storing it in the trunk and then taking it back out and putting it back on when you come out.
