I am quite a ways away from any gas stations and the light cam on about 3-4 miles ago. If I have about 25-30 miles of 40/60 city/hwy, will I be okay? The top will be up by the way.

The car is fairly new to me and I am unfamiliar with it's range at this point.

i'd say you'll have anywhere from 35-50 miles to the rest of your tank.

Yeah I usually have around 30 miles left when it goes out completely.

 

when filling up with the light on, i get from 10.5-11 gallons.. i THINK our tanks are 13?

 

you should figure it out yourself, because the fuel gauge and warning light are both inaccurate. go by your trip meter =]

 

When the gas light comes on I usually have 2 bars left. I have gone 50 miles when the light goes on. The most I have ever filled up was 12.9 gallons and I believe we have a 13.3 gallon tank. Next time I will push it to 60 miles and I'll let you know if I get stranded.

 

I put in 13.0 gallons today. I was running on fumes.

 

The light should come on at 2 bars for Ap1 at least. I have gone 60 miles after there was ZERO bars and only filled up 12.9 gal.

 

That's nuts.. the most I've ever filled up was 11.5 gallons. I'm too scared to take it any further than that
