I'm not condoning of speeding on public roads in any way, shape or form, but I'm sure there are quite a few of you who have driven your S at very high speeds. Well, I have two questions for you:

1) How fast have you driven your S?
and
2) What is the fastest you have driven any car?



For me:

1) 148 mph
and
2) Only driven the S at speeds past 125 mph.

 

150mph. I almost redlined 6th gear. was about 200rpm short. she pulled hard to 150mph. If it wasn't for the gearing, I'm guessing I could have taken her to 180mph easy. this was at 2:00am in the morning.

 

Taken the s to 267 kmph, which is about 166-167 mph. Fastest in any car was 190-195 in my completely built mustang (2 cars ago)

 

not much of a speeder...nor is there a nice smooth empty road for me to speed. went upto a 100 on my car and i was done...car felt like it was gona either blow up or fall apart any second and the road wasn't too smooth and straight.

i'm sure it's a different story with the S though. i took one upto 70mph on a 30 zone...that was kinda cool.

fastest ive been in my s2000 on the freeway: 85? lol...

set the cruise on my gti for 135 once tho...

was probably like 3-4 years ago, i drive like a grandma now, i think the last time ive gone above 75 mph on CA freeways was like last year...

 

The fastest I've ever driven was 136 MPH in my S. Turned a 6 hour trip into just over 3.
