Well I just bought my '01 S2000 with 42,000 babied miles. It looks to be in great shape, but curious to know how long the life of these motors and transmissions are. I understand its all driver related, and I plan on babying it myself. But I still see posts and "for sale" add that say "new motor". So what happened? How many miles can these little devils go before dropping some mega cash into them? And if you have the time, maybe list what parts tend to go first...Thanks!
