Default How loud is a stock S2000?

So I was talking to a friend about driving in a convertible/open vehicle and hearing loss ... Looks like there have been some studies in this space which have said hearing loss is more likely if you drive extended periods of time in such a vehicle. Seems kind of straightforward.

So, that got me thinking ... are there any stats on how loud a stock S2000 is when at cruising at various speeds with window up/down, top up/down, full throttle, etc.?

I find this car too quiet, way too quiet with a stock exhaust.

My first time on the track with the car bone stock my friends said my car could have passed as an electric car compared to the others. I don't see how hearing loss or any damage will happen, even driving top down on the highway.

I find that my ears do hurt a bit after extended driving with the top down. That's due more to the wind buffeting than the engine or exhaust noise.

Consider how much you have to raise your voice to speak to passengers. Your normal speaking voice registers around 70 db.

Top down freeway driving drives me nuts if its the interstate with trucks. I wear ear plugs then.
I did an insulation install (killing noise) post that was pretty effective. My wife and I just finished a 4 day 1200 mile trip and we could relax, talk and listen to the radio much better. I also added some to the top but have yet to post the install on that.

I think there was a Berk exhaust review I watched awhile back where the guy did DB comparisons between the two, but at the moment I'm having no luck finding it.

Driving convertible cars with the top open at speeds exceeding 88.5 kilometres per hour (55 miles per hour) may put drivers at increased risk of noise-induced hearing loss, according to new research published in The Journal of Laryngology and Otology
