Default How low is AP2+Mugen lip?

Hi,

On my AP1, I currently have an AP1 bumper + OEM lip. I am lowered on Tein S-techs. I am contemplating "upgrading" to an AP2 bumper with a Mugen lip. I already scrape a lot of stuff with my current setup, so I was just wondering how much lower an AP2 bumper with Mugen lip will be(if lower at all).

Thanks in advance!

I currently have 18s, but I just bought a set of 17s that I will be running once I find some tires.

I thought that it wouldn't matter what size rims I have? Because the profile of the tire will change depending on the rim? Therefore, keeping overall diameter?

here is the problem with your original post. you state that you are lowered on coilovers. how does anyone know how much you are lowered and how could one relate the mugen AP2 lip to your lowered car?

i have stock AP2 suspension with a mugen lip. at the lowest point, i measure 5" of gound clearance. even with 5" of ground clearance, ingress and egress of parking lots and driveways is still a challenge for me.

I know that the mugen lip sits lower then the OEM lip on an AP2 bumper. You're going to scrape for sure; but don't let that deter you...

Here are some pictures for reference:

Sorry, my post may have been misleading. When I said that I was lowered on Tein S-Techs, I just thought it was common knowledge that they were springs and not coilovers. I apologize. The Tein S-techs lower my car 1" all around.

Now I just wonder if the AP2 lip is lower than the AP1 lip?

fair enough, you should have all the measurements you need. if my stock AP2 with mugen has a 5" clearance, just measure your car and go from there. based on my guess'timation you should have 4" of clearance, maximum.
