How to make my s2k faster
If you're looking for major gains (and you have somewhat deep pockets) you'll need to go forced induction and/or get a set of aggressive gears. Intake, headers, and exhaust won't net you much extra power.
If you're not able to spend a lot of money, here are some of my recommendations:
Intake - I have an AEM V2 cold air intake. Like I said, it won't get you much additional power, but it does improve throttle response a tad and the sound is absolutely fantastic.
Exhaust - I recently put an HKS Hipower exhaust on my car. Once again, not much more power, but the sound is great - has a bit of an exotic growl to it.
X Brace - Just put a Muz Whiteline X brace on my car and it's great. Some people will argue that an X brace does nothing, but I would beg to differ. It really tightens up the car on rougher roads (of which there are plenty in the UK) and gives you greater confidence in situations where rough conditions may unsettle the car.
You may want to ask in the UK forum about where to purchase these parts in your area. Good luck!

Take it in the twisties, and your car will magically become wicked fast
!
As said before, this car is pretty well tuned as it is. The S2000 was never intended to be a drag-car anyways. But the only way to gain major HP is to go F/I. But I think it's an expensive mod for one, but also, it's like strapping a grenade to your engine, if not properly installed. All said, I'd be tempted to supercharge my car, one day maybe.

If you don't mind my asking, why exactly do you want the S2000 to go faster?
This question always comes up but no one can really offer a solid answer because usually they don't know. We like to mod our cars and have more fun.
IMO changing your axle ratio (gears) will net you the biggest "feel" improvement as almost all have said that own them. It won't produce more theoretical/computer calculated hp/torque but it will produce hp/torque from all aspects that you can tell. Other than that, just lose a little weight. The spare tire is worthless anyway. Pay the extra $3 for towing coverage with your insurance and you'll be better off anyway.
He's not asking about more power, he's asking how to make the S faster. So, faster for what? Drag racing, autocrossing, tracking, etc... different purposes mean different things you might want to do, which is why I asked.
