I am about to sell my s2000 privately and this is my first time.
I have clear title in hand and I know that we are exchanging money for car, but I need to know exact procedure. Please help me!
What is the procedure of sale?

 

Post the car for sale. Fill out a bill of sale. Count the money. Sign over the pink slip. Mail your pink slip stub to DMV.

 

The requirements vary from state to state. What state are you in?

 

Thats how we do it up here in Alaska, but our pink slips are blue and white with a little yellow in there.

If you got microsoft word you can download a template that'll pretty much tell you everything you need to fill out/have documented.

they have a decent website, plenty of info thats easy to find, and use, like checklist for selling your car etc. yup. detail your car very well before you sell it, makes it look presentable, and shows that you take care of your cars.
