I do about 8500/year. Its not a DD. 90% of the miles are from joyrides in the country or long road trips (1500 mi round trip).

I'm right with you. Just passed 6K on my '06 and it will be turned in at the end of May(36mths). I drive a scooter as well when weather permits so that keeps the miles down.

8k a year and it is my Weekend Warrior (Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday). I guess I have a different definition for Weekend and Sometimes Friday's Too.

I've put 4k miles on mine since I purchased it in April. It is currently stored for the winter....I last drove it on October 29th. Wah!

I bought mine new for my 57th birthday (and not missing a day of running in the previous year). Bought the car cover and such and was going to just drive it on the weekends and keep the mileage low. That lasted for about 2 months, then it dawned on me that for me, now is the time to be having fun. If I wear it out some time in the future and I'm still healthy/employed, I'll just get me another one. Otherwise if I take good care of it, maybe it will last until I'm on social security. 39K+ miles and climbing!
