How many miles are on your 2000-2003 S2k?
2003 Silverstone with 6,6xx miles on the odometer.
Purchased last fall with 5,900 miles on it and barely broken in. The original owner bought it thinking that they would not be produced for as long as they were and traded it in on a CR. I bought it on a whim after researching all about the S2000 on the internet.
The car looks new, there was a couple of miner flaws in the paint that will be addressed soon but the car will lead a low milage pampered life as long as I have it. It's my Toy.

The results of that poll are very interesting. It shows what we math nerds refer to as a bimodal distribution, which is to say that there are two peaks: one at 70-99 k miles, and one at 40-49k miles. This just means that there are two types of owners. There are those that drive their S2000's essentially every day, and those that subject it to more occasional usage. I am in that latter category, which I can manage, being retired and having an available garage.
I would never park this car out of doors. My more frequently used BMW 335i does sit outdoors, and the crevices of the hood and trunk areas fill up with literally millions of pine needles, which are a pain in the butt to clean out. On an S2000, all those pine needles would fall down through the edges of the soft top, and accumulate in the 'pit,' where archaeologists would find them several centuries from now.
Anyway, nearly 38% of the Ap1's in this poll have 49,000 miles or less, which is fairly low for a group of cars 6 to 10 years old. For the record, mine went on the roads in March of 2002, and has 45,100 miles.
