The tray under the passengers side dash, I think they were new with the AP2s in 2004.

 

i knew about it the secret compartment, I just didnt know how where the gas cover release knob was.
so there i was on the phone with a friend telling him "where is that thing" and the lady across from me looking at me lk im crazy.

 

It took me 2 weeks to find my secret compartment. If it wasnt for S2Ki I probably would not have known about it. I found my owners manual and receipts from the original owner of it's very first maintenance work in there.
The fuel door drove me insane. Purchased the car and drove in to a gas station... Inspected in and out of the car for about 5 minutes until my fingers/hands felt something out of the ordinary and found it. People were laughing at me cuz they new I just bought it and did not know how to open my gas cap.

 

My uncle (about same age as me) and I searched for the trunk, hood, and gas release when I got my car.

We both agreed this car is not for the mildly retarded. I didn't find the "secret compartment" until I spent some time reading these forums.

 

WOW i am in disbelief no one has mentioned "secret compartment" #4!
1. Above glove box
2. Undertray
3. Sleeves behind seats
4. Im not about to tell you.

i think someone who apparently "knows" what this secret compartment is should say so. Chances are its not even that much of a secret and we already know about it. Something that hasnt been mentioned and could be considered "secret" is the sliding door for change and cup holders. Personally i have ripped my entire interior apart numerous times for audio and alarm install and have not seen anything that hasnt already been mentioned.

 

I owned my S for 3 months until I read on S2ki about the "secret compartment" and was like wtf? What Secret Compartment? Still didn't find it until I was trying to fix my Accessory Plug, yeah, mine came out too. I was trying to figure out which panel had to come off to get in there and fix it and whoala!

Found the old owners MP3 player in there. He was happy to get it back!

So;
1. Flip lid above glove box.
2. Net behind seat and at passenger feet.
3. Slot under dash passenger side (started in 05')

4. I honestly "Think" I know what your talking about!?
Is it in or outside the car?

 

1.)the one and only actual secret compartment
2.)the spot behind the trunk liner to the left of the spare
3.)the little area above the dash tray

Those are all that I know of, the others that were named I really would not consider secret
