Default How many times have you been pulled over in your S2000 and not been ticketed?

Friday night I was pulled over, for the second time in my S2000.

Amazingly - I was not driving as fast as I normally was that day when a cop wanted to stop me.

I got clocked at 48 in a 30 entering some small down in god-knows where Wisconsin and DIDN'T get a ticket.

He kept me on the side of the road for over a half hour --- checked my license (luckily no tickets) and made sure the car wasn't stolen.

He came back and told me to be careful of small towns -- and then started asking about my S2K.

This is the 2nd time I've been pulled over and not ticketed.... and I'm just wondering if cops are more or less likely to ticket an S2000 driver.

This isn't my story (not really at least) and doesn't involve an S2K, but my father was pulled over in his NSX so that the officer could get a better look at the car and ask some questions. Pretty stupid (abuse of power) but my Dad didn't mind that much. Pretty funny, I guess.

I have been pulled 2 times. Received one ticket 70 in a 55....The van in front of me was going 75. Took him 5 miles to catch me. Attorney got it reduced to improper eqipment. The other time I hit redline in first leaving a parking garage and had a cop behind me....he let me go after a few questions. Vtec sounds so good inside the parking garage, I can't help myself.

Consider yourself very lucky. Take the money you would have paid in fines and buy a radar detector. A wise investment.

2 times, no tickets. First was "I've received several cell phone calls about your excessive rate of speed" (unconfirmed but true - thanks Escort 8500); second was "I've been tailing you for some time and you made an improper turn in to town." (ya, cause I knew you were there - thanks Escort 8500, and wasn't paying attention to the road markings).

the first time I got pulled over in my S2K it was for 55 in a 30 --- but I just bought it --- and begged for mercy.

Glad I got out of that one too.

I passed a parked cop, then flashed my lights at a line of oncoming vehicles. Unbeknownst to me was another cop at the end of that line who quickly spun around and stopped me. He informed me that what I had done was an arrestable offense. I think cops call it "flagging". He said that most drivers don't know that this is against the law, but did not write me up. The warning had a much better impact on me than a ticket which would just pi$$ me off and make me want to continue my bad behavior just to get even.
