Daily driver, but I have a beater 89 accord that I still drive on occassion. I just can't bear not to be in my S when I'm driving, I love it too much. I still took it out the past two days and parked it outside at work even though its been raining cats and dogs in the Bayarea. Probably once the novelty wears off, I'll use the beater more often.

Rain or shine, hot or cold, it's me and the S2K. A better question is why isn't it your daily ride?

The reason I asked the question is I can't bring myself to use the Stook as a daily driver. If I have to park it where I can't see it for very long I start hyperventilating. Too many bad experiences with my Accord when it was new. The Stook is the roadster I have wanted for years and if it got keyed or something I would have an aneurysm.

When my Accord was a few weeks old some a**hole in a beater VW Jetta majorly door dinged me in the Manhattan Beach Fry's parking lot. (Hate that place! Worst parking lot ever for cars.) I lost it and damn near broke his windshield until my friend stopped me. And that was just an Accord!

I am averaging 1k miles a month as a daily driver... conincidentally I also averaged 1k miles a month when I worked from home!1 They were just more fun then. My beater is currently loaned to my Dad...

Yep, it's my everyday car. Rain, night, bugs, snow (never in Florida) whatever. At least it's garaged 100% of the time.

Hey guys... it's only a car! Albeit a kick-ass one, but a car nevertheless.

Don't get me wrong, I always park far away from people, take end spots whenever possible, etc. But I treat this car the same as I did my '99 Lude, '94 Civic, etc.

It's only a car!
