You can fit two in the passenger area if you remove the seat.

When I picked up my RPF1s I could only fit 1 in the trunk but I got the other 3 on the passenger side WITH the seat. They didn't have tires though.

I managed to fit 4 tires in my S last week.
1 in the trunk, 3 on the passenger seat. Only didn't have rims in them. (tires only).

Drove the track car to Gingerman this weekend like this - with one wheel in the truck. Doesn't fit to bad. No passenger seat, obviously.
