Default How many of you removed your spare tire?

I'm installing my amps right now and i would love to be able to utilize the space taken up by the spare. How many of you drive without a spare? Do you regret it?

Modern tires are pretty much risk free. I've traveled all over the US in my MGA without a spare tire. Like the S2k, one needs the space when traveling. Never had a problem......knock on wood. I still have the spare in the S2k, but I wouldn't be too concerned about pulling it out.

Yep, I dropped the spare as well. If I ever need it, it's sitting in my garage, just a phone call away. Also remember: if you're traveling in the S2000, having a spare is useless. Even if you changed a tire, you could never fit the flat one into the trunk when it's full of baggage. The alternative would be to put it in the passenger seat, but I don't think my wife would be too keen on that. So, I ditched the spare and carry a can of fix-a-flat for dire emergencies.

I took it out also... However, with 18's now. The spare is worthless...
